LeBron is not only supporting her and the child, but hes giving them everything they and THEIR families have ever wanted. This is something hes probably realisticly dreamed of all his life. He should be able to experience it.

Sure, birth is something big, but he'll see that kid for the rest of his life. This could be his one shot to win a title, though I doubt he won't be in this position again. LeBron is fine, this isn't selfish, he knows how much this means to his teammates and everything. This is their chance to win a ring, they need him. Its not like someone is dying, I'm sure he'll run right out of game 3 to be with his G/F when the game is over.

Once you've seen one birth, you've seen them all...It's not like he'd be doing anything anyways, he'd be standing off in some corner with 10 doctors doing everything. I don't know why they just don't do a C-section on a day that doesn't fall on a finals game.
