To the kings for a 4th rd loss. Wasn’t helping here and at least we got something for him

Figured he would be gone at the end of the year either way. Making room for Kravtsov too i think factors in. Gives us an extra pick to maybe throw into a summer trade.

Agreed - solid move as Lemieux had become kind of useless. We only looked at him as a potential positive sometimes because he was one of the few players on this team that played with grit, but that doesn't make him good.

The question to me is who sits between Di G, Howden, Blackwell, Rooney, and Gauthier when Kravtsov goes into the lineup. I think it may be Gauthier as they don't see him as a 4th line player, which is where he'd play with Kravtsov in the top 9.

I am very excited to see Kravtsov up tomorrow or Tuesday. What a top 9 we'll have. I like our top 4 on D. We are so close to being a very good team after the kids get more experience. It is going to be a very exciting handful of years for Rangers fans starting next season.

I think you will see Di Guishitty and Blackwell go next if they don't go to the Pack. I would like both on the Pack. They are good examples of work ethic for prospects down there. I don't think you will get much for them. Howden might be the next to go. Because he's a decent PK guy and a center that might be a plus faceoff guy down the line, they should do better than a 4th. Especially if they package him with defenseman prospect.

I still can't believe a shit team like the Ducks or Red Wings hasn't traded for DeAngel0. He was a dick to Georgiev but Avery was a far bigger asshole as a teammate along with many other guys. Gorton is probably asking way too much.

I’m reading Avery’s book right now. All those HOF Red Wing guys loved him. Actually, every team he played on the boys loved him. He could play and he played hard. Makes you hate Torts, he’s just a POS human, especially how he handled the Boogaard situation

He was a fucking moron. Your gritty players have to do with other things well like play good defense, win faceoffs, kill penalties, block shots. The only thing he did well was skate everything else he sucked at

Yeah cause I would believe what Sean Avery says. He’s a Cocksucker. Fucking piece of shit is constantly starting fights riding his bike about drivers and the bike lane. Torts is a dick and didn’t handle Boog well. However the reason Rangers got Avery was because his fucking team couldn’t stand him. He also was a complete piece of shit with Phaneuf.

I appreciated Avery for a time. I actually posted about trading him on chat boards before the Rangers did. However off the ice after his career he has conducted himself like a piece of shit. There’s nothing he could write or say that I would give two shits about. If you look at the trades he was involved in teams gave up nothing to get him. Second time the Rangers got him he was released.

Not a huge deal but a dumb trade. Lemieux has been a disappointment this year and has been playing like a moron, but I’d rather keep him around for a stretch run against division rivals when ice gets tight than lose him for a 4th rounder. If there’s a logjam at bottom 6 wing he’s not the one to ship out.

I think Barron has a little toughness in his game to go with his skill.

Barron can have an edge when it’s necessary but when Tom Wilson takes a run at Adam Fox along the boards Barron is not going to make him answer for it.

Those games with Avery were great. They had a great record with him. Fans loved him and still do. And I do believe what he says because HOFers like Shanny, Cheli and Stevie Y, backed him up. Most people are scumbags in this world so I have no issue with Avery acting like a crazy nut now. I’m glad Avery start fights with those asshole New Yorkers. Every time we used to go to a Rangers game some piece of shit New Yorker would try and start a fight with my father and I over nothing. I remember once some little runt was pissed we weren’t walking down the escalator and felt compelled to run his midget mouth, another time some rich prick got pissed we sat next to them and didn’t sit there quiet. (I was just cheering on Orrsie after a scrap). I remember him saying that most people accommodate my request to sit here quietly because I’m a season ticket holder. When my dad told him to go fuck himself he called his buddy down to try to strong-arm us. Then when my father and my 19-year-old self at the time called them on outside they pussied down like he pussies we knew they were. I love that Avery does that I hope he keeps doing it

Right, but either way Lemieux probably was gone in the offseason so if they got something with 20g left so be it i guess. Smith will have to do the heavy lifting. :)
