QUOTE

Titans rookie White brawls with teammate at practiceAssociated PressCLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Rookie running back LenDale White got into a brawl Thursday morning with a teammate at the Tennessee Titans training camp. The rookie out of Southern California, who fell to the 45th pick in the draft overall in April, started clashing with the defense on a running play. He was walking back toward the huddle when bumped.White walked back, and safety Donnie Nickey pushed back at the rookie with his helmet. A recording by a television cameraman picked up linebacker Keith Bulluck yelling that White had spit in Nickey's face.A few plays later, White couldn't catch an outlet pass from Matt Mauck when hit by rookie Cortland Finnegan.Nickey ran upfield and shoved White in the back. White elbowed safety Vincent Fuller amid more pushing and shoving. Nickey threw at least one punch before a group of players were separated, and he walked off, took off his helmet and threw it on the ground. That prompted an angry response from coach Jeff Fisher. Practice ended a few plays later, and Fisher called the team together on the field for a brief speech before letting them leave.Fisher said later he found out what happened, what he called a violation of the code of ethics, and he apologized to Nickey."I didn't know everything, but there's stuff that goes on out there that shouldn't have gone on out there. Donnie understands, and LenDale understands he crossed the line. You just don't do that. It will not happen again. I assure you it will not happen again," Fisher said.White, who dropped into the second round after questions about his weight and inability to run before the NFL draft because of a torn right hamstring, has been working behind Chris Brown and Travis Henry in the rotation at running back.White walked by reporters as he left the practice saying: "No comment, no comment, no comment."Nickey, a three-year veteran out of Ohio State, also declined to comment.Copyright 2006 by Associated Press
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2545968
Hardly a "brawl" as the media would like you to believe. The local news showed the "brawl" and it was nothing more than a small shoving match typical of NFL players when they're out in the 100-degree heat 6 hours a day for 2 weeks straight.I think it's pretty low of White to spit at/on anybody, but Nickey (the special teams star) is just as bad carrying on with cheap shots after the fact. Nickey is quite a shady character in his own right according to comments by a local reporter and I'm sure he played some hand in provoking the whole thing. Not happy about it at all, but at least he's not getting arrested or some shit.
Teammate not a member of the opposing team.I could give a care how much saliva Michael Spittman has on him at the end of a game, he aint one of ST's teammates, and no Redskin would brawl with another Redskin. It's not how we do.
If he isn't on our team it doesn't matter, you play as a team to win, and when you do that you are playing against another team.In your case its LenDale brawling with someone on his own team.In the Redskins case, it's Taylor against our opponent.Neither are right, but when it comes to team unity, Taylors does nothing to hurt our team's unity, we are all together. Any time you are fighting with someone on the same team as you after the whistle is blown, its definitely not good.Did you see how many Redskins jumped to his defense in the video?

I guess you can call it that. Personally, I'm glad there weren't a bunch of Titans players jumping to Lendale's defense. Spitting on someone is a classless, cowardly act. If your team supports such actions, then good for you and your team. I'm happy with the Titans players & coaches being pissed about it.
