"When Bengals training camp opens on July 27, cornerback Leon Hall intends to be out there for the first practice. Speaking at length for the first time since March, Hall expressed confidence that he would be ready for the start of the season. Hall tore his left Achilles during the second quarter of a Nov.11 loss to the Steelers and had surgery five days later. All indications are that he is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation. While some have speculated throughout the offseason that it might be best for Hall to begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, meaning he would miss the first six games, the sixth-year player has tried to erase doubts of that being even a possibility.
