Well after pretty much saying he needs to treat Stotts like he did Denver i guess you answered the question of this thread. http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/sh...nurkic-this-summer.326282/page-9#post-4371380 So why are you reconsidering your status now?
This is a portland Trail Blazers forum and Not a nurkland bosnianblazers forum. Nurk was playing good, but Ed is better right now and the Combo with Zach is great. Ed is hustling for every rebound and he gave us 7 extra possessions, Nurk doesn't bring that Energy that Davis brings. Also Nurkic is Soft and sloppy with the ball and big Ed is much stronger than him, also Nurkic doesn't have the body and the condition to play 30+ minutes, for me it's no surprise that Stotts has no faith in Nurkic in critical Game Situation in the 4th, but let's see how he works in Summer on his game
Ed is not better he is just different. Nurkic is not better he is just different. We need both. Both sides need to drop it.
I agree, but fact is ed is better right now, that's Why Stotts trust him more than Nurk. I would do the same if i'm Stotts. I have totaly no Faith in Nurkic right now every Time he goes for a floater or a layup i expect a miss, this Dude has absolutely no Touch around the Rim.
Your post is bullshit. Nurkic is playing really well lately. He has got rid of the putting things up soft issue he had as the season has gone on. He didn't miss a single gimme that he instead should have made in the last game and scrapped for loose balls to boot. I love Ed. Glad he is playing big minutes too. My point is we don't have to put either one down to build the other up.
I was laughing but I think the "show" has. A shelf life. Basketball is a game of runs and once we got the momentum I think Stotts made the right decision to ride it out. It had nothing to do with how Nurk played. He's been great and I'm so excited to see what he can do in the playoffs. He and Dame really seem to have a special bond.
Bullshit. Nurkic has been playing very well. Had a 16/17 game just a few games ago. Ed never has the pressure on him to put out a game like that. Last year against Philly, Nurk had a 28-20-8-6 game. That is his ceiling as he gets older. Ed will never have games like that. But why are we pitting them against each other? They're on the same team.
I hope we (the fans) aren't the only ones that can see this. Perfect rotation. Ed can play either spot when he comes in as can Zach when either Nurkic or Ed need a breather later.
