The result was a lifeless 101-90 loss to Washington, which entered the game winless in five tries.</p> "You've got a team that was hungry for a win and they came in here and played like they wanted to win," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said. "And we didn't."</p> The Wizards came away with a stream of loose balls, seemed to grab every free rebound and took more smart shots. The result was a one-sided loss.</p> "I thought we were just too lethargic," Woodson said. "It seemed like we were a step behind everything."</p> Agreed, forward Josh Smith said: "We got outplayed. They match up well with us, but we had no energy and when the energy was there we couldn't limit them to one shot."</p> Woodson was in no mood to make excuses, either. Sure, the Hawks (2-4) have played six games in 10 days, but that's no reason to audition for a Sleep Number Bed advertisement.</p> "Certainly under the circumstances we could have some tired legs out there," Woodson said.
