    Why would Boston?

Maybe if he has a very bad playoffs and Boston is bounced.

Might as well try to trade for Luka and Giannis too.

Brown will be on an expiring contract.
Of course it depends what they do in the playoffs.

Except, there have actually been recent rumblings by Jaylen Brown. The chances of him being dealt don't feel particularly high to me. But, this isn't coming out of nowhere.

I haven't seen anything to suggest the Blazers want to move off of the Lillard/Simons/Grant lineup. As fans, we just have to get used to the team getting pummeled defensively, and hope they can score more then the other guys.

Where would you expect to see it? We have no idea what they want or don't want to do. The season has not even ended yet.

Leaks! There's no locker room leakers , no fan spys, no buddies of a manager's buddy. This team is sewn up tighter then a drum.

    Rather start Sharpe than Thybulle.

I'm fine with Sharpe coming off the bench, but needs to be behind a legit starter.

What picks are those in the Dame trade? Boston doesn't have their 1st this year or the Nets pick next year.

I'm all for targeting Jaylen Brown, but I don't see the Celtics taking Dame for him. If they take Dame, it would be to win a title, and I don't think they win a title unless they have Dame AND Brown (and Tatum).

But, of course, without Dame we don't have enough for Brown (unless we have a top 2 pick, in which case, fuck Brown, keep the pick).

I think the Celtics MIGHT consider this (although they'd probably demand a pick or two as well) - how badly do you want Brown?

I don't see BOS unloading JB w/o at least 3 FRPs, probably 4. And probably not to portland for those two. JB is an ~all star/all nba guy. Ant is not and may never be. Shae is promising but why trade a proven talent for unknowns?

I think POR has to look for guys like Portzingis, Derozan, maybe Butler, KAT, Paul George. IMHO anyone they go after will be a gamble and not a proven all star. KAT, PG etc are injuries waiting to happen but that is what POR will have to risk. Have to look to teams on ~ rebuilds/reboots/retools: CHI, CHA, WAS, MIA, SAS, LAC, LAL, NOP, BKN. I don't see this year's contenders taking a step back and unloading star talent.
