And no it's not the typical name.... Let's sign Steve Blake to be our starting PG. He's 6'3 191 lbs and isn't a huge liability on defense and the best part about it is that he sets up an offense beautifully. In the 21 games that he has been a part of the Denver Nuggets organization he has been receiving 35.5 minutes, 8.8 ppg, and 7.3 apg and only 2.02 turnovers per game. He is also a career 37% 3 point shooter. So why not go after him? He runs the offense and can knock down the open 3 if needed. Plus he's 28, so he'll give a little veteran leadership.

I've always loved Steve Blake's game and when Denver acquired him earlier this season, many of their fans were disappointed and I wasn't sure why. He is a great distributor and he is a pure point guard, something we desperately need with Jameer and Arroyo. I would love to bring Blake in and start him. I'd much rather have him and Gerald Wallace than Wince Carter.

signing him would be good, but brian hill would never play him so it would be worthless

That's actually not so shabby of an idea Gators. He only has 1 year left on his contract, and I think he is actually 27, not 28.

Imho I would rather have Diener being our Starting(as well as "future") PG though. Does anyone watch games when Diener gets significant minutes? Our offense looks so fluid.

Didn't we lose to the Bobcats earlier in the year when Diener was given significant minutes?
