Le'Veon Bell seeks deal on charges

    The defense attorney for Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell says he expects his client will be accepted into a probation program for first time offenders on marijuana possession and driving under the influence charges.

    If that happens, the attorney says the 22-year-old Bell will likely serve a years' probation and could have his arrest record expunged.

    Bell and his 27-year-old teammate, LeGarrette Blount, were arrested Aug. 20 after a motorcycle officer in Ross Township, outside Pittsburgh, smelled marijuana coming from a vehicle the men were in with a female friend.
