I'm starting to see why nobody takes young people seriously when they do stupid shit like this.

I'm only a couple of years older than these kids and I already find them annoying as hell.

If people are going to freak out about land taken from Native Americans they better move somewhere else. It's pretty much everywhere right?

 

Well first they were pissed about some anonymous racist comments on Yik Yak and they wanted Lewis and Clark to do something about that, and now they're pissed about some other things. Just a bunch of spoiled, entitled, self-important white college kids with nothing better to do.

 

The democrats have created this. Let them eat their own.

 

The President of the school should boot them out a school. Offer a refund if they clear by 4:00.
Anything less and people should refrain from paying the bill for their kids going to these schools that put up with this crap.

 

I guess I don't find it all that annoying. Maybe, it is misguided, like why are they blaming the President?, but I guess I don't find it all that annoying.

 

But that's my point... they're holding the school responsible for something that the school can't control.

 

So, violent assaults on campus are OK, but peacefully objecting to the crime is a no-no. Got it.

 

Kinda takes me back to my teenage years when campus protests were the norm across most of the country. Just a bunch of spoiled self entitled kids. I apologize if I'm talking about anyone's parents or grandparents. Those stupid brats and their shenanigans helped open the door to such travesties as, equal rights, civil rights, free(r) speech, abolishment of the draft, the resignation of a crooked president, the better late than never retreat from Vietnam, a voting age of 18 and a whole slew of other unsavory events. Of course, that's the reason this country is in such a mess today, right? Shoulda done Kent State countrywide. And when is Kate Brown going to sic the Oregon National Guard on the Lewis and Clark campus anyway......???

 

Yup. That's exactly what I said. Yessiree!

 

Here in Bellingham, the college president has discovered who posted the threats, and will prosecute.

College kids are just dumbasses. They don't know shit. Once they get jobs and join the real world they forget about this shit. But they want to feel like they are "making a difference" or doing something with their worthless lives, so they find reasons to protest. A crime was committed....if you want to have a demonstration to show solidarity, that's fine, but why "protest" the college president?? What did he do wrong?
