Oct 25 - Rashard Lewis said ankle trouble has been quite a pain for him because he's wanted to go out this preseason and prove himself after signing a six-year, $118.5 million deal with the Magic.

The preseason was to be an important one for him because he was trying to learn new offensive and defensive schemes under Stan Van Gundy and trying to mesh with new teammates. He spent the first nine years of his career with Seattle, averaging 20 or more points each of the past three.

Also, because of their thin frontline, the Magic are asking Lewis to play predominantly at power forward instead of small forward this season. But he's been unable to work on making that transition a smooth one because of the ankle sprain. -- Florida Today

That'd be weird. Seems as if they're tryin to use him like Odom, except he's not as good a rebounder. He's not that great in the post, either. He'll have to step his game up to make this transition.
