There are doubts whether or not Lewis has hit his peak - whether or not he is actually capable of becoming the star Seattle hoped when they signed him, or whether he will stick around the 18 and 7 mark the rest of his career. Consistency is a problem, and he probably isn't worth his contract at the moment. It will be interesting to see how other teams value him in terms of trade value.

On a positive note, it's good to see him take a mature approach to the situation, and realise that basketball is a business.

Personally I don't think he will get any better than he already is. This season was his 6th year(I think) and he has pretty much stayed the same for about 3 years now.

He also really seems to lack that killer instinct and competitive drive that most All-stars have. I don't know if it's because he's afraid to hurt his shoulders again or if it's just his personality makeup. I think that we should really look into trading him and see what we can get in return.

^ I agree with you there. I have always been a big fan of Vlad, and think he could put up Rashard's numbers as a permanent SF, maybe even improve on them. The difference between the two players IMO is that Vlad has the potential to develop a nasty, aggressive sort of playing attitude, whereas Lewis always looks to be going through the motions a bit. Granted, that is his nature, but you have to wonder whether he is going to blossom into the All-Star management hoped when signing him.

Personally, I would rather see Vlad establish himself at SF, but at the same time I'm not going to be unhappy if Lewis is the one who sticks around. Have been hearing rumours that Tyson Chandler's days as a Bull are numbered, and Chicago's glaring weak spot is at SF...

yeah i hear the rumours of Chandler for Lewis trades and stuff. I like Rashard but I don't wanna trade Chandler cause I think Pax should give C-Unit a little more time. I wonder how Lewis would do in Chicago.

He reminds me of Larry Hughes, he has the talent...but he just cant put it all together. I would love to see him in Washington because he can drive and hit the inside shot, and I think new teammates and fans would be good for him.
