Not enough, I like Battier but not as a starter, and we'll need something higher than 26. OTOH, it's better than getting nothing at all in return.

The rumor is that bibby is willing to sign the MLE with the rockets to win a championship for a year or something, but its all rumor.
Battier is the league's best perimeter defender, might take a little bit more than just him and 26 but if we get Durant to replace Rashard, adding a guy like Battier would be the perfect scenario. Would like to work Luther Head into any potential deal, but giving up Luke and Rashard may be a bit too much, while just throwing in pick 31 and/or 35 may not be enough to entice them.

I will probably end up looking dumb after asking this, but unless we're dictating who Houston drafts in advance, how are we going to orchestrate any trade involving the pick given we can't re-sign Rashard until July 1st anyway?
