    Since he lost the record from keeping teams from scoring 80 points. Not couting his winning streak record, Frank's new record is now beating teams by 10+ points:

    Beat Boston by 19 pts.
    Beat Philadelphia by 18 pts.
    Beat Orlando by 10 pts.
    Beat Houston by 10 pts
    Beat New Orleans by 21 pts.
    Beat Miami by 10 pts.
    Beat Orlando by 21 pts.
    Beat Philadelphia by 12 pts.
    Beat Detroit by 11 pts.
    Beat Cleveland by 20 pts.

    Hmm.... four of those five teams are from the east and 3 out of 5 teasm are under.500, but I have to say those are good stats for an interim coach.

    Plus they held them to 70ish points except for the last one. Besides, they usually put their starters on relax mode once the game is in the bag so the final score isn't really the measure. It couldv'e been more. [​IMG]

    Interim Coach? I wouldn't mind if they make him the coach for next season as well.

    Tonight's win was the kicker. Every win is important but this was the 1st game where Franks had to prove in a pressure situation. Being down early to a good team likethe pistons & the Nets fighting back really proved that the Nets are willing to fight back with Franks leading them. A couple of weeks ago they would have more than likely just folded. The way the Nets kept running & attacking even when the Pistons try to everything to try & stop the Nets fastbreak game reminded me of the Nets before the lost respect for B.Scott.Hopefully Franks can keep their attention & respect for the rest of the season, so they can have a legit shot at defending their 2-time eastern conference championship & win a world championship. But the next big test will come after we lose under franks. How the Nets recover from a loss under franks will show alot about the character that Franks as a coach. The one thing that I loved about b.Scott(during his good seasons with the Nets) was that he didnt except losses. It goes back to his days as a player with the Pacers & lakers. It seemed like b.scott would do what ever it took for the Nets to bounce back from a loss. Hopefully franks will have the same attitude

    He has the respect of all the players. They couldn't stop bragging about their new coach. That's the important thing.
