Liddell doesn't really feel like he's been beaten by better fighters the last two out of three outings. He says he "just got caught". If he gets caught again its pretty much a done deal that he's out of the title picture forever.

I think he'll never be champ again. He brought in a coach from American Top Team to tighten up his boxing game (which is how he gets caught, loose boxing defense). We'll see how he looks when he fights Shogun, and go from there.

I love liddell, great attitude as a fighter, great fighter to watch.

That said, I want Rua to win and get back to his ass kicking ways because he's got a decade of fighting left in him and Liddell just doesn't.

Since Liddell is so far into Dana's pocket, I feel that maybe a GREAT showing vs. Rua can get him a title shot providing Rampage's title shot comes sooner after UFC 98 rather than later. But I think that since Dana is so partial to Liddell if he has a good win vs. Rua than another win vs. a middle of the pack 205er then he'll get a shot after Rampage unless someone else steps up and shows they're worthy.

I'd like to see Chuck/Page 3 either way.

I want to see Chuck/Wandy II, Chuck/Jardine II. I'm actually disappointed Chuck isn't on the UFC 100 card.

Chuck never gets a title shot again if he loses to Shogun.

Chuck I think has a 40% chance to beat Shogun.

Then if the UFC tries pushing him towards another title run, probably a 25% chance to beat whoever the UFC puts in front of him for #1 contender. (Say loser of Machida-Evans)

Then a 25% chance of beating the champ. (either Evans, Machida, or Rampage)

    So 25% * 25% *40% = 2.5%. So I'd say he has a 2.5% shot of becoming champ again.

The numbers are just a guess though, depending on what shape he is in, and who is opponents would be.

Fighting is fighting. Throw %'s out. Anyone can land a shot to end the fight.

no reason to throw percentages out. percentages would factor in how likely it was for someone to land a shot to end the fight.

Unless we're talking about Lyoto Machida + %'s, or GSP..I don't know, I'm just not a fond believer in them. Especially when he just randomly made them up. I mean, I agree Liddell's chance to become champ again are very low.
