I have watched this team all year and you never really know what you are going to get. One day they look great the next day they look like one and out. It has been a season where they exceeded my expectations. I only hope they can do the same in the playoffs.

I think they're like a British Sports Car. Once in a while all the parts come together and it purrs like a dream. Most of the time, though, it's sitting in the driveway with a pool of oil underneath.

the 15 game winning streak didn't really seem like this though....we were steamrolling after the allstar break

They looked great during that stretch but recent loss to Dallas and Memphis are head scratchers you never know what you are going to get.

I just love that we sewed up the playoffs early....for years we've had to win out to get into the playoffs...this season we got there early

I agree the problem is they had the third spot locked up and now at the finish line they are on their knees up chucking with everyone else catching up to them. I like them in third place better than fourth and definitely do not like 5th.

we got a little banged up at the end ....guys are playing through small stuff.....Bazz and Lillard and Big Ed...ankles and foot problems...Turner...lower back..Mo ..knee injury....Chief just looks gassed from defending the best of the best night in and night out...hopefully they'll get a second wind going into the first round....Nurk is looking great though and that's a good thing....Collins seems like he's lost his legs a bit recently...shots are coming up short

As I see it, the margin of difference between the eight teams below the Rockets and Warriors (with a healthy Curry) is s slim that just a minor change in performance can result in winning or losing streaks. For awhile, Dame and (to a lesser extent) CJ, were playing out of their minds basketball. That lead to a fantastic stretch of fifteen games where they dominated. An injury to Dame, a loss of shooting touch for CJ, and a couple of other injuries and the team looks like they’re going to be an easy out in the first round. They need to restart the motor or they’re toast.

Question to all... which Blazer team would you prefer? A team that plays well at the end of the year but playing hard just to make the playoffs for the 7th or 8th seed or a Blazer team that clinched the playoffs early with a potential of a HCA but playing lousy basketball?

I would go with the former, just so we don't have to face the 1st or 2nd seed on their own court in the first round.

    Wouldn't that be the latter?

I don't think it would, but I'm not new at being incorrect.

This team just relaxes when they're playing well. Resorting to bad habits when things don't go their way.

I dunno. Some coaches are too strict, some aren't strict enough. It's tough to strike that balance but I don't think Stotts has been able to do it.
