What's yikes about not wanting to talk to Jason Quick? (And yes, I like Quick and his coverage more than most but Lillard not wanting to get into some discussion with him doesn't seem like a big deal.)
Good, not everything needs to be made public. It already cost one guy an opportunity (not that I feel bad about it, but still)
can't read it about his "no comments" statement (is that what you mean by 'no thoughts'?)....considering how much grief he got for talking about Kidd I can't blame him for not commenting but if any one thing was going to push him over the edge, it was Olshey's behavior in the press conference yesterday
The "when he stops commenting is when it's time to worry" crowd just got a lot of fuel for that fire.
Olshey was such a massive prick in thst conference. Why couldn't both of them been fired. That guy would be impossible to work for.
Wearing Blazers pants. People need to chill. Not yikes worthy at all. Even Quick said the no comments comment is probably stemming from Dame/Haynes' failed Kidd situation.
Ive been saying it for a while that once the changes happen, its square one for Dame as far as short and long term. You cant blame him, its the right thing for anyone to do.
Did you guys read the article? The news here is that Olshey said he made an offer for Harden! I wonder what the offer was.
I think its Yikes because every blazer is supposed to be charming and likeable and nice to the media or they want to leave or are a terrible person.
“We are going to look to make our team better; nothing is ever off the table if it advances us closer to a championship. But I’m not going to start bandying names about because people in the media think that there is some predetermined resistance to making a trade.” Olshey has tried to get involved in big trades in the past, among them offering a host of players and picks to Indiana for Paul George and making an offer to Houston this winter for James Harden.
