There may be a lot of Lillard homers here but he IS having one of the best and most consistent starts to a rookie season in a long time.

Sure its a small sample but what encourages me even more is the consistency part.

In the first 15 games of a rookie season:

Sorry so many links but I thought some of the stat people might find these interesting.

It all hinges on Davis staying hurt though. Davis was playing record breaking stats!

He had some good games, but what records was he going to break?

Yeah when he plays he is a 20/10 guy easy. Hopefully he isnt "injury prone" but he is not off to a good start with that. I would love to see him healthy and have him and Lillard battle it out.

I love Lillard, but Davis is pretty obviously the better prospect.

I was exaggerating, but here are his stats. He has a PER of 26.46. That's Jordan level.

In the same way that KG was better than Damon Stoudamire. (Though not to the same extent, I hope.)

Good job on making those lists. I clicked on some other players in the lists. Many had short careers, after the initial 15-game bursts. It reminds me that the NBA ejects a lot of great talent.
