You gotta love what FreeDawkins does. I just watched this last night and at 7:30 am I can see it 50x in a row if I want... They must have a team of people doing this.
It was incredible! My hope is they team doesn't rely on that because #LillardTime doesn't happen that often and if it takes 17 points in the last 3:07 of a game to win, that is not a long term recipe for success. Amazing to watch when it does happen though....wow!!
Nice! Thanks for posting this, dviss1. Like I said last night, Lillard can shorten his first nane to "Damn!" as far as I'm concerned. Although, I'm pretty sure Westbrick thinks that's his middle name.
Westbrook is an amazing point guard but dame seems to usually win the matchup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We will get the draft pick-- it just won't be as good as we had initially hoped. No matter how good Dame and CJ are, we still won't win more games than UTA.
Based on body of work so far this season, I'm not sure that's a given. The Blazers are 1-1 vs. the Jazz, but both games have been played in Salt Lake. Wednesday night is the first home match-up against them and the second is in February. Utah's played 3 less games than the Blazers (37 vs 40) and they're 2.5 games ahead in the standings. They've played 19 home games and 18 on the road. They're 11-8 at home and only 6-12 on the road. The Blazers have played 18 home games and a whopping 22 on the road. The Blazers are only 9-9 at home so far, but that's because they've played really tough competition the last few home games. The Blazers have a bunch of very winnable home games coming up the next few weeks. The Blazers' road record, 7-15, is about the same winning percentage as the Jazz (.318 vs .333), but they have more of them out of the way than do the Jazz. The Blazers' best wins of the season are against the Cavs, Clippers and Thunder. The Jazz's best wins are against Toronto, Atlanta and the Clips. All-in-all, I'd say the Blazers have a reasonable shot of ending up with as many or more wins than the Jazz.
underrated part of dames game - rebounding. seems to be in the right place a lot on defensive rebounds. he actually came in on a missed free throw and grabbed an important board last night in the 4th. small play but important
Both teams have a few other wins over teams with better than .500 records. I was just listing what I thought were the three best wins. The point is that Utah hasn't really beaten a top-tier team (unless you count the Clippers as such), while the Blazers have beaten two of the League's best teams.
