i thought the performance was pretty poor by both teams, but the main point of this topic is the events that happened in the match after the goal.

Giggs goal should definitely been allowed and Lille are just sore losers. Well done to the ref who did a good job.

 

The ref was totally poor that game. That lille striker hardly touched Vidic, for a centre-back he went down like a fly! Lille cheated out of it!

 

Lille goal should of stood but the ref bottled it big time. Disgraceful scences by Lille players and fans, I hope UEFA throw the book at them.

 

it shouldnt of stood shouldnt lilles goal, the ref and linesman got it right. as soon as you put your hands on another player its a foul, and vidic definatly has hands on his back.

and also with him going down easily, look at the video, vidic is sprinting with his head down to try and catch the ball, even a little push, which the push looked to have been given, would have knocked him off balance and hence makes the foul

 

correct incandecio, they got the decition correct. he pushed him a little and its a foul. but what a disgrace lille were, there coaches have said they were just protesting but ive never seen that in my life.

 

Andy Townsend got it spot on after the game with his analysis on ITV (for anyone that saw that), Lille should be punished.

 

I'm sure we will be hearing alot more about this in the next few days

There you go. A fair opinion from a neutral fan. Just proves the ref got that decision right and i also thought he got it right.

i think what they said at the end about it being school yard like. ive got the ball and were not palying anymore, because thats what the coach looked like.
