He was pretty much expected to start, Top 15 pick on a poor Defensive Line...still, I like Carriker so I hope he does well.
I don't know if I'd name a rookie a starter this early, but go ahead I guess.As for the other spot, I don't know. I'd like to see La'Roi because he's a vet. I'd like to see Jimmy to give him one more chance at reaching his potential, and I'd like to see Claude since he would have been a 1st round pick in '06 if it weren't for some past character concerns.

yeah but its worth a shot. I mean yeah its gonna be risky.. but so far we havnt had any luck on D Line.. maybe this is our chance... im lookin forward to it.. but it is a chance tho,.

But Linehan shoulda just said both DT spots were up for grabs, more competition for all of them.
