<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Following Monday?s pitiful 100-82 loss at Golden State, which featured 33.7 percent shooting by the Bulls, coach Scott Skiles appears ready to shuffle the starting lineup.

The obvious candidate to send to the bench is power forward Darius Songaila. After scoring 11 points on opening night, Songaila has produced just 14 points in the last five contests. Frequent foul trouble is one reason he?s contributed so little.

?When you?re a starter and you get one quick foul, automatically you?re on the defensive, because you know if you get the second one, you?ve got to come out,? Skiles said. ?It?s been difficult for him to find any sort of rhythm out there.?

The Bulls had a similar problem with foul trouble in preseason when they tried using Michael Sweetney in the starting lineup. Othella Harrington has also proven to be better off the bench.

One possible mix for tonight?s game at Portland is Luol Deng and Andres Nocioni at the two forward spots. The Bulls are facing tough matchups, since the Blazers use an athletic wing player (Darius Miles) at small forward and an aggressive post scorer (Zach Randolph) at power forward. Both Miles and Randolph are averaging better than 20 points per game.

Saturday against Utah, Skiles used the 6-foot-7 Nocioni against 6-11 Mehmet Okur for much of the second half.

?Noc really is a four (power forward),? Skiles said. ?That?s his strength. We?ve had games where we?ve had him on people like Rasheed Wallace, even.

?Right now, our challenge is to find a starting lineup that can not necessarily always outplay the other team?s starters, but get off to a good start on a consistent basis. Keep us in the game so that we can come with our bench.?</div>

The clear choice in my mind is getting Deng out there, the fact that hes not a starter right now its ridiculous. Hes got the most athleticism on this team and usually steers pretty clear of foul trouble.
