<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Lions designated defensive tackle Cory Redding their franchise player.ESPN's John Clayton reports Redding "is not happy" and is hoping to be dealt. Detroit had been trying to sell Redding on the idea of being part of a potentially dominant interior duo alongside Shaun Rogers, but he'd have none of it. It currently seems unlikely that a long-term deal is in the works. He'll get $6,775,000 if he plays under the one-year tender in 2007.</div>Rotoworld.
Not worth 6.7 mil. Trade him for a late 2nd or early 3rd rounder and he can sign a long term contract of his worth wherever he signs.

Too many teams have a ton of cash, and not enough Free Agent talent out there will cause some massive overspending. Either way they should trade him though if he want's out that badly.
