"In six games, Rams rookie Sam Bradford has more victories (three) than second-year Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (two).

They were the last two No. 1 picks in the draft.

After missing last week's game against the Giants, Stafford has missed as many games (11) as he's started (11).

But it appears he will be back in the lineup in two weeks when the Lions play the Redskins at Ford Field after a bye.

"Yeah, that's definitely the plan," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said during his weekly news conference Monday. "I don't want to say hope, but anytime you are talking about an injury, there is a degree of hope because you never know exactly how someone is going to respond to an increased workload."
