Touchdown Lions!!! And this was the second worst call that was reviewed and still not overturned. The refs either had it in for the Ravens, or rode the short-bus to the stadium that morning. You can't blame the Ravens for reacting the way they did. I've seen worse retailiation in social-league flag football. My prediction is that the Lions will win out the rest of their season, since they are so bad that the refs let them pick up bounced passes and run them 25 yards. Harrington could change the quarterback position as we know it!
The Packers got "jobbed" by the officials in Week 1 at Detroit, too, if you ask me. Maybe it's the stadium? Let the conspiracy theories begin! (Could it be? Another Ravens fan in the forums?)

DETROIT -- The Baltimore Ravens tried to intimidate the Detroit Lions on Sunday. When that didn't work, they went after the officials. The Ravens committed 21 penalties, just one short of the NFL record, for 147 yards and had two defensive players -- Terrell Suggs and B.J. Ward -- ejected for menacing the officials. The Lions, who felt they got jobbed by the referees last Sunday against Tampa Bay, felt no pity while beating the Ravens 35-17. The Lions are now 2-2 but, if Detroit's Marcus Pollard had been ruled inbounds on a pass play in the end zone during a controversial call last week against the Buccaneers, Detroit would be 3-1. "I've never seen anything like that in my life," said Lions cornerback Dre Bly about all the penalties against the Ravens. "After the way we played last week and Marcus' catch getting overruled, I was glad to see those guys get kicked out of the game and the calls going against them. It seemed the calls have been going against us ever since I've been here."

The fact is the Lions are 2-2 and thats the way it is. The refs have been bad all year round this season. The NFL needs to fix it. Green Bay was jipped of a call against Tampa as well so the Packers could very well be 2-3 but there not.
We didn't give the refs a chance to have any bad calls, we made sure of the win ..... 38-6 but we have not won a game after that so maybe they cursed us or something!

They didn't look the other way on the big, bad Ravens (Hasbeens).
21 penalties is a lot, that had to be some on the refs. But mostly on the lack of good coaching. This year is suppose to set a record the the amount of penalties in a year for all the teams

The refs have to do there job and to say that they are doing a good job right now is inaccurate. There doing a piss poor job with most there calls. Neither Detroit or Green Bay or anyone else has called out the refs yet. The media sees it where as the teams go on. Let the NFL handle it. It'll get better.

I said the refs are doing bad jobs and the NFL should fix it. I never said "BF1 you are wrong to say that we are blaming refs because we have not said so" hmmmmm. Anyways if you don't think that anyone was blaming refs then why post? Again just curious since it was off topic.
I'm just saying that the Ravens wouldn't have spun so completely out of control if the refs would have used the replay to actually try to catch their mistakes, instead of using it as a time-out to come up with a trumped up explanation of their bad call. The Ravens have no one to blame but themselves for the loss.

I quoted no one in my post, you quoted me, so you were responding to my post. YOu are wrong as usual and trying to dance around by changing subject.

I was making sure that you didn't think that anyone was blaming the refs. Maybe you could of worded it different. Such as "Not that anyone is blaming refs but blaming refs = sour grapes." In your next post all you had to do go in depth about it. What was the point of the post then. Geee I wonder. To try to lash out a Packer and a Lion fan discussing how bad the refs have been.If you going to get under my skin I will do the same to you. I wonder what smart ass comment you have next. I often look forward to it!
