Does anybody watch the games? The stadium is 5 minutes away from my house. I go to every game and get on ESPN every year. Its cool meeting all the famous people that go (George Bush, Kein Cosner, Harold Renolds, Tony Gwinn,)Its the best part about summer here. There is so much to do at the games.
I'm not really into it, but if I have nothing better to do and I can't find anything better to watch I will usually tune into a few games.
Baseball being my best sport, I tune in somewhat. My grandma and grandpa went to the stadium last year.My brothers baseball team last year won the Indiana state championship (9-10 yr olds.) So some of them will be in that age group this year but next year I'll let you know how far they get. They might end up in Williamsport.
I casually watch the games...I think it's funny how when the kids are up at bat they have their favorite athletes on the bottom of the screen. Some of the coaches piss me off though, some of them think they are in the actualy world series... For the most part though, it's kids having tons of fun which always cool to see
I go to the DizzyDean World Series.. :happy0144: 2 Years ago it was in Moody Alabama, then last year it was in Jackson, Mississsippi..then i forgot where it is this year..
Thanks for mentioning it is where we met I love going to the games. The only problem is its real hot out and I get all sticky EWWWWW
LLWS is like the greatest thing ever. I love watching little kids play baseball. I love watching Japan sh*t on everyone they play. I love seeing the favorite players and stuff. Its some legit sh*t. Especially a few years ago when a team from Worcester, MA (i think...) went pretty far. I had a good time watching their games.
It's fun watching them play. Hit the ball and run around. But, some of those are pretty good. Especially China's team. They have owned lately.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KMart @ Jun 4 2006, 08:47 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>The Little League World Series is about as entertaining as a wet fart</div>I always find those entertaining. jkAnyways, Wade3, it is usually Japan that owns, not China. I liked watching Daunte Bachette's (sp) little kid play in it last year. One of the few great players out there.
Is this like every team in america ( Children Wise ) Play baseball in one place, can somebody explain ?
Eh..I can't really go in depth to explain this, you should ask tony. But one team from each state in the US goes, and alot of teams from other countrys ( Dominican R., Japan, Curacao etc..)But this age group is for only 12 year olds. And Little League, is the league it is. I play in a different league called Dizzy Dean, and we have a world series like this, but Little League is probobly a league everyone has played in at one time in there life..Its fun to see kids around your age play, and its just kinda exciting to me..
