Saw this today on Sky Sports News, under cover police from a neutral country are handing in a report to Michel Platini about Liverpool Fans being the worst in European Competitions.. BEFORE The Champions League Final. Hopefully I can get an article on this, but what does everyone else think?

I'm sure you saw the thread that I posted with the images of Liverpool fans after the Champions League final, so it shows that they have some problems but there's not really a way to get around it, what can they do? Suspend them from walking the streets when they go to an away match? It's just too hard.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Liverpool supporters have been labelled as Europe's worst in a damning report by European football's governing body.

Uefa says Reds fans have been involved in more incidents in Europe during the past four years than any other club.

Ticketless fans caused trouble at May's Champions League final, although the club criticised security at the game.

Uefa spokesman William Gaillard said: "That was just the latest example. What other fans steal tickets from fellow fans or from the hands of children?"

Uefa's report will be handed to sports minister Richard Caborn on Tuesday.

You must ask yourself why at the Champions League, with the same conditions, there was no trouble with the Milan fans - only the Liverpool fans

    Uefa spokesman William Gaillard
In it, Uefa paints a damning picture of the Anfield club's supporters' behaviour at the Champions League final in Athens.

Gaillard added: "We know what happened in Athens, and Liverpool fans were the cause of most of the trouble there.

"There have been 25 incidents involving Liverpool fans away from home since 2003 and these are in the report - most teams' supporters do not cause any trouble at all."

Liverpool have sent their own report to Uefa complaining about lax security measures at the final.

Many supporters with forged tickets or no tickets at all managed to gain access to the stadium.

Gaillard added: "You must ask yourself why at the same match, with the same conditions, there was no trouble with the Milan fans - only the Liverpool fans." </div>

I said in an earlier thread that Platini wants English clubs out. He hates us with a passion. Some of the "incidents" he refers to are major disruptions like pinching flags where as the turkish and italians can get away with stabbings the spanish and eastern european countries get away with paltry fines for racism.
This is the same Liverpool team that in 2005 got an award from Uefa for having the best fans in Europe also what other trouble or incidents of you heard of since then? so whats the big difference? I know there was problems in Greece but if you would of been there yourself you would understand where these problems came from. The stadium wasn't suitable for football and the police didn't have a clue what to do as the crowds began to build up. Uefa knew there was forgeries going about and were pre-warned by Rick Parry about this. If Uefa had been sensible with their allocation instead of creating a market fo touts things would of been a lot different. I'm not condoning the trouble by any means but a lot was brought on by Uefa. How William Gaillard could compare us to the Milan fans was also beyond me. They only took 10'000 for a start and straight after the game he actually came out and said that the Milan fans were a lot more rowdy than us so why the change?
Like i said i don't condone the actions of a few idiots you get them at EVERY club but it was all blown out of proportion by heavy handed policing and poor organization. Liverpool F.C have asked for a report on the behavior of the police themselves so this just seems like Uefa are trying to cover their own arses because in the build up they were told what could happen but refused to listen.

    What can he do?

Ban them from going to European games? cause it will happen in Liverpool if that happens.

I'm waiting to see what these incidents are. One of them is the pinching of flags at the Final (of course none of them will of been taken by Milan fans)so if they are all major like that i'll throw my passport away. Lets not forget that someone got shot dead at a match this season (PSG v Tel Aviv i think), Leeds fans got murdered, United were involved in 2 seperate major incidents, Middlesborough fans had the audacity to get stabbed by Roma fans so i'm looking forward to hearing the gobshites.

What makes me sick is thick people coming out with things they know nothing about. Saying stuff like we didn't win so trash the place! The trouble was BEFORE the game. As for your other comment abouut YNWA you really do talk nonsense ,you probably didn't even know it was Gerry and the Pacemakers until you read it on my other thread.
I also seem to remember Arsenal and Galatasary fans a few years ago getting on admirably

Here's the latest statement from Tom Hicks. Gaillard the clown love it.

Gaillard's comments have stirred the fire in Hicks, as he has responded by hitting out at Uefa's handling of the Athens showpiece.

"I thought the guy from Uefa was a clown for saying that," Hicks told Sky Sports News. "Uefa did not handle this right at all.

"To give 17,00 tickets to the two teams, particularly knowing Liverpool is going to bring 40,000 fans is insane.

"I think it is a classic case of a bureaucrat trying to take pressure off himself.

"They didn't handle it right, they didn't have proper ticketing procedures.

"Unfortunately there were counterfeit tickets and unfortunately there were Liverpool fans who paid hard-earned money and a lot of fans went to great sacrifice to get their tickets and they got to the stadium and were told there was no more room.

"Were they mad? Sure they were mad and I don't blame them."

Arsenal will be respectable because they have shite away support in Europe. Whilst we took 5000 to PSV away you only took 1500 so they probably couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Oo aaarr pount of ciderrrrr you inbred fool.
