I thought it was funny and a bit of a coincidence at first but now its beyond a joke. the national team is failing and its clubs like liverpool, arsenal and chelsea that are causing this. you should get back to the days of dean saunders and ian rush. enjoy battling for the last champions league place. let this be a lesson learnt.
Wow these man u supporters are really something else? You signed Rooney for 29mill and Carrick for 18mill. Both were England internationals before you signed them! as was Rio F (30mill) Liverpool have Crouch, Carra, WorldClass Gerrard in the england set up, and on the of that Carson and Pennant knocking on the door,... so we are definately contributing the the england set up! Get you facts right and focus on rooney being allowed to play for england instead of man u claiming he has an injury concern (yeah right!)
Why should Benitez pay over the odds for an English player when he can get the same or better for a fraction of the price on the continent? His job is to ensure success for his club and not for England! Same goes for EVERY other club manager.
Liverpool should just call themselves Spain i mean sign David Villa and Fernando Torres and its more or less the Spain team
