It was a dogged pair of games. I was saying to my colleagues at work before the first leg that that was what it was going to be, none of them beleived me. I think overall, contrary to Mourinho's gripes about how they deserved to win, Chelsea really didn't. Dirk Kuyt had a valid goad disallowed, simple because of his pace and the pace at which the ball was played through. The linesmans eyes were to slow to keep the pace so he gave the benefit to the team on the back foot at the time - Chelsea. The referee was the best ref I have seen in a good while. He let play flow and didnt give ofuls to the twinkle toe Chelsea players who went down like fairies. Hate to admit it but Liverpool had it won before the game kicked off.
I now hate Ashley Cole twice as much as I did before. Not because hes banging Tweedy on the regular but because he is the most unpsortsmanlike player I have seen all season. Whoever said he was one of the best in the world is having a right laugh!

Of course you didn't, that silenced him a little. </div> lies, i said itd be nice to, but i fancied liverpool to win it anyway, the rule of offside is if theres a part of the body that can be used to control the ball its offside, his head was behind the last man so technically it was offside but the linesman culdnt see the last man because of kuyt which made him think kuyt was more offsid than he was. it was offside but given for the wrong reason, you see them go eter way. noone but noone in that match deserved to win becuase it was one of the shittest games in a long while, no team played to win, they jsut both played to not lose. mind you chelsea delt with defending much more cooly than pool and were defending with less players each time. i cant remeber the amount of shots but i think chelsea had more and really should have scored one. chelsea penalties were shite but cech could of gotten to two of liverpools quite easily, well the 2nd penalty more easily than kuyts, kuyts was very good. erm what else, o yea ref had a mint game even though there could maybe should of been 1 or 2 more yellow cards mainly shown to chelsea. pennants shit and isnt good enough for the top 6 teams in the prem and hes a dirty little git. and one last thing dont say blah blah you hate liverpool so obviously youll say that like ive had before, all points given are as a neutral
