LATIMES -- "He's going to be the guy taking the torch, so it's very important for him to be healthy," Read More...
Shaun has made a lot of strides. He said he's at about 200 lbs now. His confidence has risen, his shot has improved, and his confidence in it too. He's improved his ability to drive and finish, and is really using his ball handling and quickness to it's full potential. I expect a big season from him, not so much in terms of numbers, but impact. It's also great that he does things on both ends of the floor.
He`s going to be the man for LA coming off the bench this year. He showed alot in playoffs too. Livingston should breakout even more.
Shaun is going to be crucial to a big season this year because I have my doubts that Sam is going to stay injury-free again. When Sam goes down, Shaun will have to step up to the plate and keep things running smoothly. Given, on such an offensively gifted squad as LAC, thats not incredibly hard to do. But for them to really win a lot of games, Shaun will have to be more than just a patch when Sam goes down or takes a rest. Hes gotta keep up the D like he did last year, and become much more confident on offense. He knows how to pass, and he knows how to grab boards...but he scarcely takes shots unless he has to. He needs to be yet another person on this team to give opposing defenses something to worry about if they wanna do it big.
