i told u he was for real ESPN now recognizes him http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1892327
He's having a good year, but I think some of his success is due to the type of offense Reid is running. I listed to Andy talk this morning, and while he didn't discuss it along this line, he certainly indicated that in his offense, it is hard for defenses to cover his pass plays....particularly the TE and RB. All in all, though, he's making the plays so far.
yes 71, and clinton portis was the product of the broncos offense. he showed flashes last year, and was a great college player. hes no fraud. trust me

I never said he was a fraud. I think he looks like he could be a good player, but I do think some of his success is his environment. As for Portis, I think he is a very good player. But you are a little premature to use him as an example. He is a averaging 1.2 YPC less this year than his career average at Denver, and has already lost 2 fumbles, which was his season average at Denver. Take away his first carry of the year, and he is averaging under 3.5. Given time, that should improve.
Cowboy71 should know about players being succesful by environment, look at emmitt smith, a average back that looked great cuz of line.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>He was good, not great, a HOF but lacked some versatility</div> True, but as you said, he was a good fit, which is partially like a product of the environment. Of course, the same could be said for Aikman.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Philly_Freak93)</div><div class='quotemain'>yes 71, and clinton portis was the product of the broncos offense.</div> Good thing Portis got 5 yards per carry finally last week, because Reuben Droughns matched his performance as the new Denver plug-and-play. As for LJ, he seems to be in a slump. He hasn't caught a pass since week 3.
stupid LJ didnt get me any fantasy points last week if i started my other guy i would have won, damn u LJ do better next week
Oh goody; Another pro Eagles rant by Dawk. Whoppeeee! Easy there Turbo! Might I suggest that you put the Red Bull down, take off the glasses w/ Green & Silver lens, & get a hobby. Something calming like tight rope walking w/ flamethower & gasoline In ther NFL, you are only as good as your last game. For example; <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (J-E-T-S 1083)</div><div class='quotemain'>stupid LJ didnt get me any fantasy points last week if i started my other guy i would have won, damn u LJ do better next week</div> I should be thankful that LJ tanked otherwise C I B C might be 1-5??
