Lloyd Carr to enter Hall of Fame

    Former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr will be inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame, the Detroit News reported Saturday.

    Carr retired after the 2007 season with 122 wins and the 1997 national championship on his resume. Brian Griese, the 1997 quarterback and an ESPN analyst, made the announcement Saturday night when many of Carr's former players gathered for a fund-raising dinner for Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
