The local ESPN Radio station in my area has been discussing some moves the Packers may be working on. First off, There could be negotiations with R.W Mcquarters is the Bears do indeed release him, they say Jim Bates has some real interest. Next, A possible Trade for Peter Warrick from the Bengals, Possibly giving up a late first day pick for him. and Finally, one more LB signing, They seem to be interested in Anthony Simmons and Peter Boulware. keep in mind this is just speculation of the local radio.
I would like to see the Packers sign Boulware or Simmons. McQuarters is iffy, unless he plays cheap. I was never sold on him entirely when he was with the 49'ers, so why the Bears paid through the nose for him is beyond me. He'd have to have one hell of a comeback year. I don't think Walker will hold out much longer. I don't see the Warrick thing happening.
McQuarters is a buy for me.If he gets released i would like to see him with us.He can help out a little.Mabe be a start if he will be an awsome player for our D not the bears D.
Well McQuarters didn't work out but did Peter Boulware sign anywhere yet. If not I think we got to take a huge run at him. Also maybe another corner wouldn't be bad as well.
