That was the biggest thing -- just putting the hat on and showing your support in front of your own Cleveland fans. Just go ahead and say you're a Yankee fan, but don't wear a hat. That was just like a stab in the back.</blockquote>Crawford followed up by asking if the Indians players would show up at a Cavs game wearing a Spurs hat when those teams played. Lofton took the high road: <blockquote>I think we are more of adults -- we don't do that kind of stuff. We know what's right and what's wrong, and that's not the right thing for us to do.</blockquote>Never thought I would say this, but why can't <font color="#3952a2">LeBron James</font> just be <font color="#3952a2">more like Allen Iverson</font>? I don't think LeBron needs to switch allegiances and sport a Tribe hat, but why go out of your way to upset your fans when there's no need to? That's just bad business.</div></p> I have to agree with this. This is now your city and you should help it rise to the top no matter what sport.</p>
He's a grown man he should be able to support whatever team he wants in another sport. The Yankee's aren't really a New York team, they have a global fanbase.</p> I think everyone needs to relax its not like he showed up to a Cav's game with a Knicks hat on...</p> </p>
Why does it matter who LeBron supports in baseball?</p> I find it ironic Kenny Lofton of all people is offended. How many different hats his this guy worn over his MLB career?</p> At least Lebron is consistent with supporting the Yankees. This kid has been nothing, but spectacular for the city of Cleveland. He resurrected the entire franchise and has made himself available to the fans. He's not a jackass knucklehead running around and getting into trouble like a lot of other NBA players who come out of highschool, sign a mega contract and forget they have a job to do. LeBron has been a professional his entire NBA career and now the city wants to turn their back on him because he wore a Yankee hat? Give me a break.</p> </p>
