He filed for arbitration...sorry dump but if you didn't see that coming you are lost...of course he was going to file. If he didn't file he has zero leverage. It's the next step that matters, not him filing. 1000000% guarantee he was filing, so that doesn't bother me at all. The question is will he accept a deal before the hearing...that is the true test.
He's simply not worth that kind of money. Look at Brassard's deal. How could they justify giving Stepan that kind of money? Offer a fair deal long term deal and let him be the bad guy in turning it down. I would tell Stepan's agent one team (Buffalo) giving out a ridiculous contract doesn't mean everyone else is going to do the same.
