hey, don't count out the nets though, they could steal some games and make this series interesting. i know they can't stop duncan, but duncan's not gonna score 100 points and win the game. if they can contain duncan's supporting cast then they could actually win it all.

East is bound to get better, unless the draft system dont work(which it does most of the time). But the East has a definite top teams like the West but they're bout 10 games behind the West top teams. Watch for Detroit in a couple of seasons.

wcf is far away from "the real finals" nets have a huge cahce to take it... they are evenly matched with the spurs and the nets actually have 3 advantages in the startin linup tony parker will be the same as the frist round-even worse tim duncan's points will decrease about 5-10 his rebounds will decrese about 3rpg,ginobilli will raise his game, malik rose is going to be a non-factor so will robinson but on the other hand k-marts numbers will decrease 5-10(from 20) kidd will raise his game to legend status but really thats it for the nets but i think it will be enough to take it but i wouldent be surprised if the spurs win it eather

No,Malik Rose will likely be a key factor....stephen jackson is out to prove a point against the nets after they got rid of him...manu,parker,jackson scoring will be key..duncan will get his no matter what...

-jackson should be able to take kittles. if he doesnt do what he's supposed to, ginobli could DEFINITELY take kittles.
-tony might have trouble with kidd, but he'll still score.
    -NO ONE can take timmy.
-malik rose could give kmart a REALLY hard time. they're about the same size, rose is wider. i don't think kmart can stop rose from posting up.
-david robinson never really was a factor. he's a big body though

i'm just curious to see what bruce bowen will do w/ richard jefferson.

LOL the wcf is the real finals. no one in the east has a chance and the nets are no different. lets be honest. the nets have done a nice job against the east by theyre going to crumble against a REAL dominant team. kenyon crybaby will start fighting refs and teammates when he realizes hes been reduced to a non factor and it will all crumble from there. theres a reason the thread for the mavs vs the spurs reads NBA FINALS in front of it

Well it looks like Tony Parker's going to have to pull an MJ and play out of his mind with a stomach virus....Tony might be good, but right now they aren't even sure if he can play, and Nash and NVE are going to eat Speedy Claxton for Breakfast.

Dirk might not be back tonight, but the gods are on our side, if Tony's out tonight or even if he's not 100% then the Mav's win, setting it all up for a Game 7 Mav's victory

Wow that is a game twister. Parker is certainly no MJ and I dont expect him to put up an All-Star performance if he is remotely ill. Even with Dirk out, Nash and Van Exel can still light it up and without Parker like [IMG] said the guards for the Mavs will eat up Speedy. Not having a healthy Tony Parker is a serious blow to the Spurs and I think this will lead to a Mavs victory at home in Game 6, sending this series to a game 7. The Mavericks winning Game 6 will cause a tremedous comfidence swing to the Mavericks side. I'm pretty sure Dirk will play in Game 7 and I think they could pull off a huge upset and win this series.

How do you figure? Tony Parker will be able to cover Kidd much better than an injured Chauncey Billups. Parker is quick and Duncan can defend the lane better than just about anyone in the league. Ginobili easily can match up with Kittles and Bowen can shut down Jefferson. Duncan can cover either Martin or whoever the Nets are playing at center. I think its funny how quickly people go from saying West all the way to this whole East has a good chance this year.
