Look for Trojans to Smash Ohio State

The whole college football country is focusing on the Collision at the Coliseum as Ohio State visits USC on Saturday. But there are other Pac-10 games of interest on the calendar.

First, for Pete Carroll's coronation. OSU is a very good team, much better than the squad that struggled with Ohio last week. But SoCal is at another level. Troy's defense, led by linebacker Rey Maualuga, is phenomenal, and the offense is much better than figured. Quarterback Mark Sanchez is utilizing experience from last season's handful of starts along with his mobility (in relation to John David Booty). Toss in an improved corps of receivers and watch out. The Buckeyes will slow them down but not shut them down. And the Trojans will totally stifle the mediocre OSU offense.
