Did anybody believe this day would finally come? Curtis Borchardt and Raul Lopez hovered on the periphery of the Jazz for 16 months, spectators watching practice, sitting behind the bench, and trying to feel part of a team without ever wearing the uniform. "It was a long wait," Borchardt said. http://www.sltrib.com/2003/Nov/11092003/sports/sports.asp Well that took a while, signs are showing that it was worth the wait, both guys are playing well. In a few seasons these two will be fun to watch.
I dont kno how much Pac-10 basketball you guys watch but Borchardt is a heck of a player, that is if he can stay healthy. I watched him a lot when he was at Standford, I can tell you he was one of the most underrated/underpublicized players in the country. He's 7 ft tall, can shoot from 20ft and is a GREAT shotblocker.
