Desperate to get something going on the road, the Colorado Rockies brought a vacation vibe for their trip to Miami. Loud floral prints, shoes without socks, white pants, it all was part of the look for the flight with hopes of changing their luck away from home.

    It didn't work.

Pablo López took advantage of an extra day of rest by allowing only two runs in a career-best eight innings, Corey Dickerson hit a two-run triple and the Miami Marlins opened a homestand by beating the Rockies 6-2 on Tuesday night.
