My dog was just diagnosed with lung cancer. The vet made a house call. His symptoms I hoped it was just kennel cough. Nope. He's the pitbull that I rescued 14.5 years ago from NE Portland - he was severly neglected. I guess knowing that he's 102 in dog years makes it easier to deal with. But holy fucking shit does this suck.
That's rough. I lost my pit/beagle mix almost a year ago. Still miss her. When it's time have the vet come to your house to put your dog to sleep. It's so much easier than bringing them to the vet. Also it's easier for you to cry.
Bud, thats tough. I like my Boxers more than most people, and it sounds like you gave your pup a good life. You are in my prayers.
It sucks but remember that people like you that give a shit are the best pet owners. Pets give us so much that it is ok to be proud that you gave a dog a great life.
Damn bro. Sorry to hear this. We have 2 dogs....Charles Barkley is 14 and Rudy FURnandez is 7. First dogs I've ever owned, not looking forward to them passing.
My condolences on the loss to your family. Losing a member is always life changing. I miss my lil' Boston Terrier so much!! Obey my dog!!!
Two things really get to me..... dogs dying and cancer. So that's like my worst nightmare. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer about 7 years ago and that shit still affects me. I was watching a TV show and one of the main characters was telling his girl that he has cancer... it really fucked me up. I didn't realize it had left such a lasting impression on me.
