<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Warriors point guard Nick Van Exel, like many of his teammates, is searching right now. Searching for reasons why his team has lost six games in a row and why the offense has gone missing. He's searching for what kind of role he can play to best help the team and searching for answers to why his left knee feels good one day and not the next. And like his teammates, he hasn't been able to figure much out. Sitting in a courtside seat inside the Toyota Center after Tuesday's practice, his left knee wrapped in ice, Van Exel once again tried to solve the myriad issues. "I'm just frustrated with losing and the way it (knee) feels from time to time," said Van Exel, who said he'll play against his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, tonight. "Those are the two things I'm frustrated with. Losing really takes a toll on me. And my knee, not being able to wake up and know it's going to feel good. I don't like that feeling." Over the past week, Van Exel has voiced uncertainty about his role and what kind of player he needs to be for the Warriors (14-19). Now, he's expressed concern over the wishy-washy nature of his knee, the one he had arthroscopic surgery on in October. That might explain what's behind his inconsistent season. </div> http://www.contracostatimes.com/mld/cctime...ors/7651161.htm
