I think he's right. McGrady showed almost no effort in those 19 losses- he was pretty much resigned to the fact that they're a really bad team. Any other great player in teh game today (KG, TD, Shaq, Kobe) would have willed his team to victory, no matter how bad they were.
T-Mac didn't do much to help his team win? T-Mac wanted to win badly and desperately. If T-Mac touched the ball for mostly the entire basketball game, easily he would've dropped 50 to help his team end the losing streak.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Drew Gooden:</div><div class="quote_post">Did that guy actually get paid to write that?</div> No. If he did it wasn't much. I think this is untrue. T-mac is a great player with a great talent which is playing the game of basketball. You can't expect one player to win all the games, score all the points, get all the rebounds, and so on. It takes the whole team coaches, managers, staff, and fans. Yeah one person can get there team hiped up but it's up to the team if they want to play. When T-mac plays a God-giben game it's because he wanted to. When Gooden plays a God-given game it's because he wanted to.It's not just T-mac that can do what this team did against the Knicks and Suns(the only two teams they defeated this season so far).It makes me, Magic fans, and the game of basketball fans mad when junk like this is published.
