I can't believe this is it! There is no way they can answers all of our questions. I just hope it ends well!

Agreed. It's so much easier to start an interesting story than to finish it -- I hope they can pull things together in a satisfying way somehow. Of course, there is absolutely no way they can satisfy ALL of their fans, so really I just hope that they can satisfy me.
I'm not sure what I really need to absolutely know except 1. What the island is, and 2. What will happen to our friends I am fairly certain both will be answered, so I am really looking forward to tonight. I am though turning the Internet off at 6 - no spoilers allowed! Great show, so sad to see it end.
You drinking my Portland Trail Blazers pale ale?!! It isn't Dos Equis or Corona, that shit'll fuck you up.
I haven't watched a single show, so maybe it is like TV crack (as many of my friends at a "Lost Party" tonight will attest)... But what's stopping someone in NYC from posting spoilers all over the Net? Like, ZOMG SmoKe MonSter ?!?R!
I just realized that my last line channeled Zurs Gera. My fault. To be fair, I've been on the go since Friday morning. I get a few hours of chillout time. Brain's disengaging.
summary: desmond broke the island's magic butt plug and jack had to fix it and everybody is dead and in some irrelevant purgatory that exists just so they can show old characters and reunions. the whole thing was an unbelievably contrived schmultz-fest that answered nothing about and made virtually meaningless the entire first 5 seasons. simply the most disappointing televison show i have watched, or ever will watch. thanks for asking
The island was not purgatory -- the alternate sideways world from this last season was purgatory. I was totally satisfied. The show's strength was never in it's pseudo-science gobbledygook; it was the characters. Anyone looking for an episode of Mr. Wizard explaining all of the ins and outs of the island's electro-silliness was surely disappointed, but that wasn't me.
