... beat #7 Arizona in basketball. I think Beavs finally have themselves a basketball coach. Beavs have 8 scholarship players, lost their top 5 scorers from last year, had open tryouts and don't have a senior on the team. I was going to be surprised if they won one game this year. I don't think people realize just how big of an upset it was. Amazing game to be at, Gill was rockin like days of old. Be exciting to see what Tinkle can do the rest of the year, and what he can do with a great recruiting class next year. Hopefully he can get the team to play like this on the road, will find out this weekend against the Washington school! I'm pumped! Go Beavs!
Yep, it was the first thing I mentioned to my boss (an Oregon State alum) on Monday. "How bout that Beaver basketball?!" The women's hoops team is even better--top 15 I believe, and just whooped up on the lady ducks. Now that football season is over, time to pay attention to Corvallis.
Lady Beavs just moved up to #9! Won by a combined margin of 62 points between the 2 games against the ducks. Rueck is one hell of a coach. Best part of Sunday was the Lady Beavs got back from beating the ducks, then rushed the court when the men beat Zona. Lots of supports between programs at OSU.
It's a great day to be a Beaver! Th men's team plays Washington tomorrow. Girls play a pretty solid WSU team on Friday.
Yes it's a GREAT DAY TO BE A BEAV! I think the men's hoops team will have trouble on the road. I think they will improve greatly next year though.
Oh sure, can flood the main blazer forum with duck threads, God forbid there is Beaver talk in the OT one I see how you duck mods work!
There is one forum and one thread. http://www.sportstwo.com/forums/oregon-state-beavers.544/ http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/nsfw-the-bodacious-blazer-babes-of-s2.133585/ That covers both kinds of beavers.
