ANd by Clippers/Blazers, it's all about Chris Paul and the injuries.

    Oh well.

Did they mention that this series is now ruined for many of us.

It would be like your big badass dad fighting the little accountant down the street. If he wins, he is a bully and if he loses he is a laughing stock.

Best case scenario is Blazers win and have to hear about how lucky they got.

Apparently Zach Lowe thinks that CJ's last name is McCallum.

The show with Lowe and Arnovitz is REALLY good. Arnovitz has been following us around and he has a ton of inside info on the team. Definitely worth the listen.

If Blazers beat the Spurs with LA in the WCF, then someone has to make a movie about this--sponsored by Adidas.

All the better if we can close this thing out and steal a game in the bay.

So want to see the Blazers playing down the road over here; it's somehow not an impossible scenario.

Except this potential big bad bully was projected to win around 27 games this year.

For going on 40 years other teams have benefited from Blazers injuries. I don't see any asterisks next to their accomplishments. It's part of the game. Damn right I'm going to enjoy any success and every victory the Blazers get.

No, this is like the little accountant, getting trained by an old Japaneese maintainance man, then beats up a bully in a karate tournament who just happens to have a severe case of the flu.

In 1992 the Blazers played the Lakers in the first round. Magic had been forced into retirement at the start of the season and the Lakers had other key injuries. It was then a best of five series. The Lakers barely missed being swept when they won Game 3 by 2 points in OT after Buck Williams' tip at the buzzer rolled off the rim. After the series, Kevin Duckworth, may he rest in peace, was asked how could it be satisfying when the Lakers were just not the same team. Duck replied these are the Lakers. We don't care if they send out "little high school boys" (his words) to play, we still want to beat them. Amen, Duck.

It is not like your badass dad fighting the little accountant. It is more like two big tough guys attacking a short skinny guy wearing a ballet T-shirt on BART and grabbing his new iPhone. Easy mark. Only they didn't realize the short skinny guy was a professional ballet dancer who had been strenuously exercising about 9 hours a day since age 5. The short skinny guy chased the thief holding his phone to the end of the car, pinned him against the side of the car with one skinny and very strong leg and began pummeling the thief, who was twice his size, with skinny arms strong enough to lift adult women into the air 50 times a day. He got his phone back. (Yes, this actually did happen.)

The Clippers and everyone else thought the Blazers would meekly give up. Like a skinny guy in a ballet T-shirt. They got a big surprise. This team showed they don't believe anyone who calls them losers.

Last year the Clips tried to say the Warriors were lucky because the Clips had been injured when they met in the playoffs. I call the Warriors champions. And the Clips also-rans.

You guys can say what you want, winning this series will be by default whether they could have won it with the clips at full strength or not.

If every team we faced had injuries and we beat the Cavs without Lebron and Kyrie in the finals it would be a participation award.

Id fucking take it. In 20 years nobody would care, and that championship banner would still be hanging proudly.

Im not getting any younger bro.

So you agree that GSW's 2015 championship should have an asterisk next to it?

I'd maybe take a tryst with Pamela Anderson so I could tell people 20 years from now that "back in the day I made it with this hot chick from Baywatch"

I'd know it wasn't the same though.
