Just another team willing to at least discuss moving their Lottery pick. Memphis - willing to move the #4 if a team will take on Chandler Parsons Orlando - they want an impact player sooner rather than later Cleveland - would like an impact player if for some reason LeBron were to stay Philly - wants to add a veteran to their young, playoff core. Clippers - would like to combine #12/#13 to move up. Denver - willing to trade #14 if attached to Farid. That is a lot of top picks available. Now, does Neil have the interest or ability to go get one of those...and if so, who would he target?
This is the best opportunity Neil will ever have get a franchise changing player for CJ... high lotto picks are actually available... lots of prospects with high upside... Neil needs to make a move now.
I agree...My thought is that going into year 4, Neil will try and frost the cake with seasoned Vets with poff experience. Now that could involve TPE and/or trades & picks. I just don't think they are looking to blow it up. Going to be an interesting summer!
I think the Faried one is a possibility, assuming Portland wants to stay in the draft, which is questionable. I also don’t see much of a difference between the prospects that project to go in that range with the ones expected to go in Portland’s.
IF...Portland were to get up to #14, I like either of the Kentucky players supposedly available in Kevin Knox or Shai G-A. Both have near 7' wingspans and a lot of versatility.
Saw the story Memphis with #4 and Parsons, Do you think they would take Turner+Aminu + 24+2019 2nd round for Parsons & #4.
Probably wouldn’t but I wish. Maybe Turner, Harkless, Biggie, and 24 for Parsons and 4 is a possibility but I doubt it.
Rinse and repeat. Firat off, they're rumors that could have no fact in them, that could be a smokescreen. Second off, even if they're legit, it's unlikely a team is offering a top 5 pick for CJ. Don't be that dude that whines and complains that Neil didn't trade CJ for a Top 5 pick, as if he had the choice when he didnt.d A lotta teams probably like someone between 8-14, and that's why they're trying to trade down and secure more assets for a rebuilding team. Do you seriously think Atlanta wants to trade #3 for C.J.? Some people man...
I think if we do acquire a lottery pick, it probably wouldn't be for us. It will be part of a package for an established player Neil has targeted. It would just be another trade asset to help us land a player that makes us better now. With all three lottery picks being shopped, plus stars like PG13, LeBron and now Kawhi on the move, it's going to be an interesting summer. BNM
All the Lillard wants out speculation is crazy. Dame seems very loyal to Portland, even though this season finished terribly. Also, Dame has no leverage for a trade, we have him locked up for 3 years still I believe.
Memphis is offering the 4th pick attached to Parsons to cut salary. Therefore taking back Turner in a deal to cut salary isn't going to happen.
