Being a huge Cards fan, it was great seeing Louisville beat #1 Syracuse for the second straight time this year. This win guaranteed Louisville a spot in the tournament. While there season has been rocky and not consistent, they are definitely one of those teams that can bring trouble to the high seeds if they make it through the first weekend. I love watching Louisville ball as Pitino always teaches them to press and get turnovers. I think when it comes to the press, Louisville is always great at that. They just have to stay consistent on offense and since they live or die by the 3, if they're not hitting them, they don't know what to do. It seems when they are leading and are controlling the momentum that they are unstoppable. We'll see what they do in the Big East tournament and hopefully they'll start to get sharper. Besides the Big 12, I think the Big East will go far this year while the SEC and ACC seem a little weaker than in past years.
That was an amazing game. I was only able to catch parts of it but Kyle Kuric put on a show in the second half. Seeing Syracuse go down only a week after getting the top spot was cool too. As a KU fan, I thank you for that, it's nice to see Freedom Hall go out like that.
Like BasX, I only caught parts of it, mainly the first half. Knowing 'Cuse past of not leaving historically leaving the Carrier Dome, it was surprising to see they had been undefeated on the road this season until that game. Have to give props to Rick Pitino for orchestrating to wins over that team, and he can thank Kuric for this recent win.
