Louisville vs. Texas A&M Surprised there isn't a thread yet... Game is tied up 28 all at the half. But does anyone else think that it's an absolute joke that a 3 seed has to be an away team in the second round? The committee gave the Cards a gift this year, and it really makes my stomach turn!
Yup, they did get a gift, but if there's any way to balance it out, L'Ville should've been higher than a 6, IMO. It's like in 2003, the Badgers were 26-7 and won the Big 10 tournament...only to get a 6 seed to make up for it, they gave us our first 2 games in milwaukee It's been a good back-and-forth game so far. That announcer needs to get off Edgar Sosa's ballsack LOL. Sosa really has improved this year, though. He's tough to stop when he gets into the paint - he can finish better than most guys who are bigger than him. Padgett needs to be more involved. A&M is getting good play out of Dominique Kirk, who I really like. They need to play a bit smarter, though in the 2nd half. Looked like they were about to turn it over a few times, but managed to at least get off a shot. Acie Law time is coming - stay tuned for that
^ You called it, man. Law's getting to the bucket and taking high percentage shots, while Louisville's settling for the 3.
Looks like A&M is dying to give this game away to Louisville. Come on now quit giving up 3pt shots dam..
Sosa has really been good in the 2nd half - he's stealing Acie Law's thunder, no small feat for anyone, let alone a true frosh. L'Ville is in a good spot to win this, but they've had trouble closing a couple times this year due to their youth. Should be a good finish.
Sosa takes a beyond - NBA -range 3 while his team is down 1 point with the clock ticking down Texas A&M wins
HUGE congrats to Texas A&M!!! They survived a ridiculous decision to basically let the 6 seeded Louisville play at home for their second round game.
