I know it's just a preview but I'm not sure Denzel is right for this role. Also, the CGI of the rhino sucked, lol.
I think Denzel is fine in that role. I hope the lead actor (The character of the boy from the first movie) is able to pull it off. He isn't as well known or as Russell Crowe who killed it in the first one. Wondering if casting Denzel and Pascal next to him is the producers intent to get a-listers in there and lift him up. I see they have two emperors replacing Joaquin Phoenix's character. I know Joseph Quinn will kill at that role. Not familiar with Hechinger who is playing the other emperor. Glad to see Connie Nielsen is back as is Ridley Scott as Director and Producer. I know he wouldn't be doing it unless the story is good. Have to live to to the original.
Ridley Scott hasn’t been good in decades; one could argue he’s been good by accident more than on purpose. But he does keep swinging for the fences which is at least interesting. But… The franchise stuff to me is the most boring aspect of his filmography; it’s sad to see him turn this into another of his franchises.
