In one of my brackets, I took LSU to the Final Four. Ive been getting harassed over it, taking LSU over the likes of Duke, Texas, etc. In my mind, LSU can match up against any team in the country. I joined the JBB bracket pool(w00t Im back), and I do have Texas in the Final Four in that one. I could also say the same for GW. Minus injuries, they're the 2nd most athletic team int he country, next to UConn. GW at full health, plus, a higher sead, which they awfully deserve, they could have made a serious run.

I think Glen Davis and a healthy Tyrus Thomas could kill the Duke frontcourt. Duke would also have a tough time matching up with Tasmin Mitchell, and D Mitchell penetrating could cause serious problems. Duke has struggle all season with fast penetrating guards. As far as against Texas, the matchups are better, but anything can happen.

I've got LSU beating Duke and losing to Texas in the Elite Eight. If they have a healthy Tyrus Thomas and Darrel Mitchell, then I think they are more than capable of making it to the Final Four. Glen Davis would be too much for Shelden Williams and I believe co-SEC defensive player of the year Tyrus Thomas would tear fellow freshman Josh McRoberts apart. Gimme the Tigers in a close one! BTW, Great to see you again, CUSA!

I got them going to the championship game in my bracket. Really, their only competition is Duke and, as long as Tyrus Thomas is alright, I think they can handle them.
